CHRISTOPHER LOWELL
Christopher Lowell was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. He studied photography at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, and at the New School in New York. His first group show, “21 Under 30”, was hosted by the Mary Stanley Studio in Atlanta. His first solo show, “Rendering the Ordinary Extraordinary”, was held in 2007 at the Walter Maciel Gallery in Los Angeles. He has since shown work through the Jackson Fine Art Gallery and the Stephen Cohen Gallery as well as numerous other venues. Christopher worked as a photojournalist for Project Medishare in Haiti in 2008. His work has brought him to over 25 countries on five different continents.
